In modern travelling, safety and convenience are equally important. In order to provide all-round monitoring and improve safety on the road, we have introduced the Towable Caravan Wireless 4-View Camera Monitoring Solution. The system consists of a 7-inch wireless AHD rear view monitor and 4 wireless car cameras.
The 7-inch rear view monitor is mounted in the cab of the tractor trailer and is the visual “hub” of the system. It is used to wirelessly receive (2.4ghz) video feeds from 4 cameras, providing a comprehensive surveillance view.
One of the cameras is mounted at the rear licence plate of the towing vehicle. 1 of the cameras is usually mounted at the rear licence plate of the tractor trailer and has multiple functions. When driving independently or reversing, it provides excellent rear blind spot monitoring and reversing assistance. In addition, this camera is equipped with 6 infrared LEDs to provide night vision, ensuring a clear view at night or in low light conditions.
The other 3 cameras are mounted on the left, right and rear of the rear haulage caravan and are used to monitor the blind zones in these three areas. These cameras not only provide additional monitoring but also feature LED reflectors which provide a warning effect and are used in place of the warning lights on the original caravan. Most of all these 3 cameras provide a full range of monitoring of the surroundings of the caravan, helping the driver to better perform manoeuvres such as turns and lane changes, improving driving safety.
